Jenn's grandmother taught her how to crochet before she could read. When she was eight she wanted to be a fashion designer and at twelve an architect. She used to build model cars with her dad, painting each sparkplug it's appropriate color and recreating the interior to scale. Don't you cross your eyes for fun and relaxation?
At Kutztown University, she studied jewelry design and made awful jewelry.
" Excuse me, I'm saving this seat for my bracelet."
Fast forward through some waitressing and mindnumbing office type work and moping around Scranton trying to make people buy her bad jewelry. "It doubles as a weapon?".
A friend opened a gallery and asked Jenn to hang some work.
In her head she said " I make jewelry, it hangs on ears"
Out loud she said "sure" and "Bartender, get this man (and me) a drink"
Previously, Jenn had made tiny tiles and tried to hang them on people's necks.
She figured she could do that, but bigger and hang them on walls
and she did
and now she does.
